Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Accountant for its Regional Administrative Office in Spring, TX. This role provides structured on‑the‑job accounting training, development and mentoring with a clear career progression toward Controller / VP of Finance responsibilities. The position is full-time and based in Spring, TX (21503 Spring Plaza Dr., Spring, TX 77388).

What You’ll Do

As an Accountant you will perform core accounting tasks that support accurate financial statements and operational decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare financial statements and assist with financial reporting
• Perform branch audit evaluations
• Assemble bank reconciliations and account schedules
• Prepare journal entries, expense accruals and allocations
• Participate in timely and accurate month‑end close processes
• Assist personnel with questions about accounting policies and procedures
• Analyze income statement fluctuations and identify trends
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Provide process improvements and cost‑saving suggestions
• Conduct audits and help ensure compliance
• Collaborate with other departments to support business operations
• May handle T&E reports, coding, account classification and reimbursements
• May assist with sales and other tax return preparation

• Starting pay: $25.49 per hour (targeted 1st year annual compensation of $53,019 based on a 40‑hour work week)
• Estimated higher-earnings midpoint shown: $88,251 per year (estimate)

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or expected graduation by December 2026
• Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (no more than 2 at‑fault accidents or moving violations in the past 3 years; one violation must fall off within 12 months of employment)
• No drug- or alcohol-related convictions (DUI/DWI) on driving record within the past 5 years
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship now or in the future
• Willingness to relocate outside the local area/state within 1–3 years for promotion opportunities
