What You’ll Do

The Confidential Client is hiring an Accountant in New London, WI to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and cost analysis for an assigned business area. You will help prepare monthly and annual forecasts, support weekly and month-end close activities, maintain production and inventory reporting, analyze cost drivers and savings initiatives, and partner with Operations, HR, and other teams to improve financial performance and controls.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly and monthly close activities and ensure accurate financial data.
• Produce month-end reports and provide insight into operational results.
• Manage production reporting and inventory accounting inputs.
• Analyze cost savings and cost reduction initiatives; provide financial estimates.
• Support new product development and cost reduction analysis.
• Prepare and track Capital Investment Requests (CIRs) in alignment with approval processes.
• Participate in the Annual Operating Plan and aid in financial forecasts.
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and other departments to align policies and reporting.
• Support internal and external audit activities and maintain strong internal controls.
• Support LEAN and Safety initiatives as appropriate.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience required; experience in manufacturing/plant environments preferred. Completion of an approved Finance & Accounting trainee program may be considered equivalent to up to one year of experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required; experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, UKG) preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• May oversee clerical or administrative accounting personnel.
• Minimal travel required.
• Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Estimated salary: $63,567 per year (estimated).
