What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Accountant I on the Revenue Accounting team. This role is part of a Shared Accounting Services environment and is focused on accurately processing and reconciling revenue-related transactions and reports.

  • Import and export revenue-related data between accounting systems, ensuring accurate mapping and reporting.
  • Receive, reconcile, and enter non-system revenues and receipts.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to correctly book event-related revenues.
  • Generate, review, and distribute operational revenue reports to management.
  • Review sales tax percentages by location and help identify and resolve system setup issues.
  • Complete weekly concessionaire payback processing, prepare journal entries, and create pay sheets.
  • Participate in reconciliation of deferred revenue accounts and ensure proper mapping of product redemptions and sales.
  • Adhere to company policies, safety rules, attendance, and EEO practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited four-year college or university, and/or a minimum of four years combined accounting and/or industry-related experience.
  • Understanding of upstream and downstream activities that impact Revenue Accounting.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat. Extra consideration for experience with account reconciliations, system automation, and advanced Excel (macros).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Detail-oriented, dependable, ethical, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Confidence to ask questions and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated salary: $63,399 per year (estimated).
  • Benefits may include healthcare (medical/dental/vision), paid vacation/sick time, paid holidays, 401(k) program, bonus opportunities, and complimentary season passes where applicable. (Compensation and benefits are provided by the hiring organization and may vary by location and eligibility.)

Work Hours & Location

  • Location: Mason, OH (45040).
  • Full-time; this is an hourly position.
  • Schedule may include weekend shifts and select holidays as needed. Occasional mandatory overtime, evening, or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines except where prohibited by law.
