About the Role

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Accountant to join its Business Management team at the group headquarters in Chandler, AZ. This role offers structured training across accounting and finance functions and a defined career path toward supervisory and leadership roles (Controller/VP of Finance). You'll gain hands-on experience preparing financial statements, performing reconciliations, supporting month-end close, and working closely with sales, operations, HR, and risk management.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare financial statements and support month-end close activities
• Perform branch audit evaluations and assist with audits to ensure compliance
• Assemble bank reconciliations and account schedules
• Prepare journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations
• Analyze income statement fluctuations and support financial reporting
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Respond to accounting policy/procedure questions from operations and branch personnel
• Recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Assist with T&E coding, account classification, reimbursements, and possible tax preparation tasks
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and other departments

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance OR graduating with an Accounting or Finance degree by December 2026
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Office 365
• Willingness to relocate outside the state for career advancement opportunities if required
• Valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
• No drug- or alcohol-related driving convictions (DUI/DWI) within the past 3 years
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
• At least 18 years old
• Currently live in or have plans to move to the Chandler / Greater Phoenix area

• Targeted annual compensation: $60,000 (based on a 40-hour work week)
