What You’ll Do

This role supports financial planning, analysis, and reporting for the assigned business area at a confidential client operating in a manufacturing/plant environment. You will help prepare forecasts and the Annual Operating Plan, maintain accurate financial data, monitor cost drivers, and drive reporting improvements that support business decision-making.

• Support weekly and monthly close activities and reconciliations
• Produce timely operational and production reporting, including inventory metrics
• Analyze monthly results and provide actionable insights to operations leadership
• Report on cost-savings and cost-reduction initiatives; support analysis and tracking
• Provide financial analysis and cost estimates for new product development or cost reduction projects
• Prepare and track Capital Investment Requests (CIRs) in alignment with finance approval processes
• Assist with annual operating plan and periodic financial forecasts
• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, HR, and other departments to ensure accurate reporting and policy alignment
• Support internal and external audits and maintain strong internal controls
• Participate in LEAN and safety initiatives as appropriate
• Complete ad hoc analysis and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting or finance experience required; experience in manufacturing or plant accounting preferred
• Technical skills:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word required
  • Experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Workday, UKG) preferred
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present financial results and recommendations clearly
• Supervisory: May oversee clerical or administrative accounting staff
• Travel: Minimal

Tools & Systems

• Microsoft Excel (advanced reporting and analysis)
• Enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP (preferred)
• Workday, UKG or similar HR/finance systems (preferred)
• Familiarity with LEAN reporting or continuous improvement tools is a plus

Compensation & Benefits

• Estimated salary: $60,078 per year (estimated)
• Full-time position
