Position Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Account Manager as part of a 24-month accelerated development program for new graduates (graduation expected by Summer 2027). This hybrid, customer-facing role combines structured training, cross-functional rotations, and hands-on account ownership to build expertise in supply chain solutions, shipment execution, and data-driven customer service.

What You’ll Do
The responsibilities below reflect the core work of the role. You will be expected to take increasing ownership over time.
- Develop broad supply chain knowledge (modes, capacity, pricing, service, customer operations) through structured training and mentorship.
- Build and maintain trust-based relationships with a portfolio of customers by understanding their priorities and solving supply chain challenges.
- Own shipment execution end-to-end — planning through delivery — leveraging digital and AI-enabled tools to anticipate risk and ensure reliable outcomes.
- Use data analytics to identify trends, uncover root causes, and convert insights into service, cost, or reliability improvements.
- Participate in customer business reviews and planning sessions; work with experienced Account Managers and gradually take ownership of account growth opportunities.
- Collaborate across sales, pricing, operations, and capacity teams; rotate through functional areas to build internal networks and business understanding.
- Proactively improve processes, remove operational friction, and implement best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned that support team and client needs.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress, with graduation expected by Summer 2027
- Demonstrated use of customer perspective to guide decisions and actions
Preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills
- Comfortable using tools to evaluate solutions and make recommendations

Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay range (Plano, TX): $24.28 - $54.99 per hour (base pay only; actual pay will depend on skills, experience, and education)
