Overview
This is an outside sales role based in Glendale, CO (Greater Denver area) focused on acquiring new business and growing relationships with small- to mid-sized organizations in healthcare and related verticals. The Account Executive will spend the majority of time in the field — prospecting, meeting customers, and building a healthy pipeline — while collaborating with internal teams (implementation, sales support, product specialists) to deliver solutions that drive revenue and long-term account success.
What You’ll Do
- New account acquisition: identify, prospect, and close new business within an assigned local territory through in-person meetings, referrals, networking, and cold calling.
- Consultative selling: perform needs analysis and present tailored product/service solutions that address customer challenges and drive profitable growth.
- Territory planning & execution: own territory strategy, forecasting, and pipeline management to meet or exceed sales targets.
- CRM & reporting: keep Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) up to date with activities, opportunities, and forecasts to support accurate reporting and account planning.
- Cross-functional collaboration: coordinate with implementation, sales support, and subject matter experts to ensure a smooth customer onboarding and long-term success.
- Market development: build local market knowledge, identify expansion opportunities, and represent the client at events and customer visits.
Who You Are
- A self-motivated outside sales professional comfortable with face-to-face selling and cold outreach.
- Consultative communicator who uncovers customer needs and positions relevant solutions.
- Organized and disciplined with strong time management and CRM hygiene.
- Resilient, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Able and willing to travel regularly within the assigned territory; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 2+ years of outside sales, business development, or related experience (healthcare vertical experience a plus).
- Demonstrated relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling, prospecting, and face-to-face meetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools preferred.
- Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $50,000 — $55,000 per year (listed range reflects the information provided by the employer; actual pay may be adjusted to meet state or local wage laws).
- Eligibility for incentive program(s) per plan terms.
