Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking an Account Development Representative (ADR) — an entry-level, high-impact commercial role that serves as a launchpad into account management and enterprise sales. This position combines structured training with measurable revenue outcomes: you will support regional Account Managers, engage with enterprise customers (including in-person meetings), and help generate qualified pipeline while developing the skills to progress into quota-bearing roles.

What You’ll Do

As an Account Development Representative you will:

  • Conduct proactive outbound and inbound outreach to build an actionable pipeline for regional Account Managers.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings that progress opportunities through the early sales stages.
  • Support in-person client engagements, site visits, industry events, and executive briefings.
  • Prepare account briefings and whitespace analyses using usage metrics and market signals to identify growth and risk indicators.
  • Collaborate across Product, Commercial Operations, Legal, and Sales leadership to move complex opportunities forward.
  • Track activities and outcomes in Salesforce, Salesloft, and related sales tools; report on KPIs and campaign performance.
  • Balance training, structured onboarding, and real client-facing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Why this role matters

This is not a support position — it’s a development role with direct revenue impact. You’ll get early exposure to senior leadership and top-tier accounts and be positioned to transition into a full Account Manager role as you demonstrate commercial impact and mastery of client engagement.

Qualifications

Required

  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with confidence speaking to senior executives.
  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills; able to prioritize work under tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable engaging customers face-to-face and conducting professional business conversations.
  • Technical comfort with AI-assisted tools, CRM platforms (Salesforce), prospecting engines (Salesloft), and Microsoft Office.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, entry-level sales, account support, or client-facing operations).

Preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field — or equivalent practical experience.
  • Multilingual ability for regional/international coverage.
  • Familiarity with financial markets, data workflows, or SaaS product models.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Anticipated base salary range (U.S.): $59,212 — $80,000 per year. Final base salary will be based on geographic location within the U.S., experience, skills, and qualifications.
  • Eligible for an annual incentive plan.
  • Access to benefits including health & wellness coverage, generous time off, learning & development resources, retirement planning, and family-friendly programs.
  • Additional local and global benefits may apply depending on employment location.

What You’ll Gain

  • Structured onboarding and hands-on training in sales methodology, product knowledge, and commercial acumen.
  • Regular exposure to senior commercial leaders and enterprise accounts.
  • Clear progression path into quota-bearing Account Manager roles.
  • Experience with market intelligence products and data-driven account expansion strategies.
