Position Overview

Confidential Client is hiring Behavior Technicians / ABA Therapists to provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and teens with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and developmental delays. This role includes paid training, ongoing supervision, and clear pathways for advancement.

Compensation & Benefits

• $20–$28 per hour depending on education and experience. Entry-level hires may start at $20–$22/hr.
• First-time RBT certificants: $700 stipend + automatic $1/hr pay increase.
• Full-time benefits (eligible at 32+ hrs/week): medical, dental, vision (employer-covered portions vary).
• SIMPLE IRA Plus retirement plan with 100% employer match up to 3% after 1 year.
• Accrued paid vacation (max 80 hours), 7 paid holidays, accrued sick leave, and 8 hours floating holiday per year.
• Paid training, flexible scheduling (ability to decline proposed cases), tuition discounts, life insurance options, and drive-time & mileage reimbursement (limits may apply).

What You’ll Do

• Implement individualized behavior-management programs and ABA interventions in 1:1 home and community settings.
• Apply behavioral techniques focused on prevention, skill-building, and behavior reduction.
• Monitor, measure, and document client progress against treatment goals.
• Maintain confidentiality of client records and adhere to professional/ethical standards.
• Participate in treatment-team meetings and follow supervisor direction to support client outcomes.

Schedule & Location

• Operating hours: Monday–Sunday, 8:00 AM–8:00 PM (session times based on client and employee availability).
• Part-time roles available (10+ hours/week); opportunities to grow into full-time (32+ hours) in select areas.
• Behavior Technicians may be assigned to client locations within a 15–20 mile radius of Irvine, CA depending on caseload needs.
• Reliable transportation required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to ethical and professional standards.
  • Ability to provide evidence of negative tuberculosis test.
  • Ability to pass FBI and DOJ Live Scan background checks.
  • Consistent and reliable transportation.
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental or learning disabilities.
  • Experience implementing ABA interventions in 1:1 settings.
