What You’ll Do
This Program Coordinator role supports a social enterprise accelerator that partners with a major university. You will support program operations, outreach, project execution, and event logistics while working with staff, students, social entrepreneurs, mentors, partners, and funders.
- Coordinate operational and administrative aspects of student and accelerator programs; respond independently to inquiries from students, entrepreneurs, mentors, and partners.
- Conduct targeted outreach, recruitment, and selection screening to engage social enterprises in accelerator programs.
- Strengthen connections with student groups, academic departments, and campus partners to increase participation.
- Support creation and execution of implementation plans for assigned program projects.
- Conduct market research on social enterprises, investors, and accelerators; synthesize findings for staff and stakeholders.
- Coordinate logistics for webinars, speaker panels, workshops, and other events (virtual and in-person).
- Perform data entry and CRM updates (Salesforce or similar); support reporting and presentation preparation for internal and external audiences.
- Provide administrative and general operations support as needed.
- Supervise and provide direction to student employees; collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful program delivery.
Compensation & Commitment
- Hourly pay range: $28.03 - $33.65 / hour. Compensation will be based on education, experience, skills relevant to the role, and internal equity.
- Employment type: Full-time, fixed-term.
- Pay frequency: Hourly.
Location & Telecommute
This position is posted as TELECOMMUTE (remote-eligible). The confidential client is registered to do business in: California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, and Illinois. Employees approved to telecommute must perform work from within one of these states.
Who We’re Looking For (Key Qualifications & Skills)
- 2+ years of relevant work experience; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Experience with outreach, recruitment, and stakeholder relationship-building.
- Strong writing, research, and presentation skills with keen attention to detail.
- Comfort producing professional materials in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently, balance competing priorities, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ability to follow established processes and maintain high attention to detail.
- Preferred: proficiency in Spanish or French and familiarity with global development initiatives or the social enterprise movement.
- Passion for social impact, social entrepreneurship, and equity-focused work.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Typical office/remote work environment. Considerable time spent at a desk using a computer.
- May require travel to campus buildings, partner sites, conferences, or occasional international travel for field programs.
- May require occasional evening or weekend work and virtual meetings at varied hours.
- This role may include frequent interruptions and collaboration across teams.
