What You’ll Do
- Support the product team as an Associate Product Manager to define and deliver product features that improve student and counselor experiences
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, customer success, sales) to translate user needs into clear product requirements and prioritized roadmaps
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to validate problems and proposed solutions
- Analyze product metrics and user behavior to measure feature impact and inform iteration (dashboarding, A/B testing, cohort analysis)
- Write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframe-level requirements; partner with designers on flows and prototypes
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and help maintain the backlog, sprint planning, and release coordination
- Communicate product updates and roadmaps to internal stakeholders and help collect feedback from customers and partners
- Support go-to-market activities including release notes, training materials, and onboarding improvements
What We’re Looking For
- 0–3 years of experience in product management or a related role (early-career product managers, recent graduates, or career changers encouraged)
- Strong customer empathy with a desire to work on education-focused products
- Comfortable working with data — able to analyze metrics, form hypotheses, and measure outcomes (SQL or analytics tool experience a plus)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; ability to write concise user stories and present product rationale
- Demonstrated collaboration with engineering and design teams; familiarity with Agile processes (JIRA, Asana, or similar)
- Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced start-up / scale-up environment
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deliver on commitments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in education technology, K–12 or higher education workflows, or college & career readiness products
- Basic SQL, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude experience
- Experience running user interviews, usability tests, or customer discovery
- Familiarity with wireframing tools (Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq) and product prototyping
- Coursework or internship experience in product, UX, analytics, or software development
