What You’ll Do

This Associate Product Manager role supports the product team for a confidential client developing market-facing products. You will drive product roadmap execution, gather user insights, and work with global, cross-functional teams to deliver commercially successful products.

  • Maintain and evolve innovation project schedules and the North America roadmap
  • Assist in defining next-generation product plans and product requirements
  • Conduct user research in-field and desk research to capture customer needs and use cases
  • Support market and competitive research with the Market Research team to identify trends and opportunities
  • Contribute to cross-functional development teams to translate specs into deliverables
  • Partner with Sales and Brand teams to provide product expertise, positioning, and launch support
  • Identify product improvement and cost-reduction opportunities informed by data and user feedback
  • Monitor product performance and support lifecycle decisions (end-of-life, refreshes, updates)
  • Manage customer feedback, requirements tracking, and issue resolution for assigned products
  • Own/product-support aspects of product profitability and the business case for assigned lines

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree OR 8 years equivalent professional experience in a related field
  • Strong project management and time-management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating across functions and regions
  • Experience working effectively with global, cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, marketing)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze product performance and contribute to commercial decisions
  • Experience conducting user research and translating insights into product requirements
  • Comfortable with data-informed decision-making and managing business cases
  • Preferred: experience in product management or product development for hardware/software products or regulated industries

Compensation & Benefits

  • U.S. base salary range: $75,000 to $80,000 (base pay; final offer depends on experience, location, and job-related factors)

Workplace & Logistics

  • This role is hybrid: approximately 60% in-office (about 3 days per week) in Mount Prospect, IL (local office). Remote work and flexible scheduling are subject to client policies.
