Confidential Client is hiring a dedicated 5th Grade Math/Science Teacher in Crockett, TX. You'll deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction in math and science, support student growth, and collaborate with campus staff to create a safe, inclusive classroom environment.

What you’ll do
You will plan, deliver, and assess instruction in math and science for 5th grade students, using a variety of strategies and data to meet diverse learner needs.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with district curriculum and TEA guidelines
- Use instructional strategies, materials, technology, and assessments that reflect students’ learning styles
- Differentiate instruction and make accommodations for students with IEPs in coordination with special education staff
- Assess student progress regularly and use results to inform instruction
- Supervise and assign duties to instructional aides and volunteers as needed
- Sponsor or support extracurricular activities as assigned
- Maintain records, grades, and required reports
What we’re looking for (required qualifications)
Candidates must meet the basic certification and preparation requirements for this role.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or training for the assigned subject/level
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject areas of math and science
- One year of student teaching or an approved internship
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a positive classroom environment
Preferred skills & attributes
- Experience planning lessons that integrate technology and hands-on learning
- Familiarity with TEA standards and best practices in elementary math/science instruction
- Collaborative approach to curriculum planning and student supports
- Commitment to professional growth and participation in staff development
Work environment & additional details
This position is based in Crockett, TX. You will be part of a campus team and expected to follow state, district, and campus policies and procedures. The role includes classroom duties, participation in faculty meetings, and occasional extracurricular responsibilities.
