What You’ll Do
You will join a client-service team supporting transformation initiatives that improve performance and strengthen cybersecurity posture across public-sector organizations. This role combines analytical research, technical support, and client-facing work to produce actionable recommendations and help clients reduce cyber risk.
- Support assessments of security posture and risk exposure
- Analyze cyber strategy, policies, and processes to identify improvement opportunities
- Leverage tools, methodologies, and accelerators to support transformation initiatives
- Prepare briefing materials, presentations, and written deliverables for client stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design operational and organizational changes aligned with business goals
- Assist with project management tasks, timelines, and client communications
The Team
You’ll be placed in the Government & Public Services practice working across strategy, operations, technology, and transformation projects for government agencies, higher education, and nonprofit clients. The team emphasizes professional growth, collaboration, and building specialized cyber strategy experience.
Qualifications (Required)
- Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university expected to graduate by Summer 2027, or a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, Mathematics, Risk Management, or an equivalent field
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Reside within a commutable distance (for example, a ~100-mile radius) of the assigned office with ability to commute daily if required
- Ability to travel up to 50% on average, depending on client needs
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- At least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications
- Cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher
- Internship, project, or coursework experience in cybersecurity, computer science, data analytics, information security, risk management, or related fields
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of project teams
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality deliverables
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
Location & Travel
This position is based in Colorado Springs, CO. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of the assigned office and be able to travel to client sites as needed (up to ~50% travel on average).
Compensation
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role is $88,000 to $91,000 per year. Final pay will depend on factors such as skills, experience, location, licensure/certifications, and organizational needs.
