What You’ll Do

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports outpatient clinic operations and patient care in a fast-paced specialty and primary care environment. Working onsite, you will partner with physicians and advanced practice providers to assess, plan, implement, document, and communicate nursing care that follows professional standards and clinic protocols.

Key responsibilities:

  • Escort patients to and from exam rooms; prepare patients for provider visits.
  • Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms; ensure charts and lab results are complete and available for providers.
  • Perform telephone triage; manage patient education and follow-up communications.
  • Administer immunizations and minor treatments as prescribed.
  • Serve as liaison between providers, patients, and pharmacy; handle physician and pharmacy calls.
  • Report test results to patients as directed by providers and document outcomes.
  • Support clinic workflow, patient throughput, and quality-of-care initiatives.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications (level-based):

  • Entry Level: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or equivalent).
  • Intermediate Level: Graduate of an accredited nursing program plus 2 years of nursing experience.
  • Senior Level: Graduate of an accredited nursing program plus 4 years of nursing experience.
  • Substitutions: A combination of equivalent education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be considered on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • 1–2+ years of clinic or outpatient nursing experience.
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred.
  • Specialty nursing certification (ANCC) a plus.
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record, Kronos, and HealthStream.

Conditions of Employment

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (AHA or equivalent).
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado and maintenance of required licensure/certifications.
  • Ability to work onsite at the assigned clinic and travel to alternate clinic locations as needed.

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills across clinical teams.
  • Ability to work effectively within large, complex healthcare systems and across affiliates.
  • Competence in clinical data interpretation, reporting, and presentation preparation.
  • Calm, professional demeanor in stressful situations; ability to prioritize and complete tasks timely.

Compensation & Benefits

Anticipated hiring ranges (salary varies by level). Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.

  • Entry Level: $69,160 – $80,226 per year
  • Intermediate Level: $74,347 – $86,243 per year
  • Senior Level: $79,534 – $93,850 per year

Work Location

Onsite — this role is expected to work at the clinic located in Lone Tree, CO (must be able to report in person).
