What You’ll Do
This is an entry-level Data Analyst role supporting warranty and aftersales analytics for a confidential client. You will work across the full analytics lifecycle—from gathering requirements to delivering repeatable analytical solutions and automation.
- Partner with internal business teams to gather and clarify analytical project requirements
- Translate business needs into structured analytical work plans and measurable deliverables
- Prepare, clean, transform, and standardize data to ensure high quality and usability
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and analytical workflows to support repeatable insights
- Build reports, dashboards, and analytical applications (e.g., Power BI, Streamlit/Dash/Shiny)
- Support automation initiatives by delivering data, analytics, and tooling to engineering teams
- Apply statistical and data science techniques (descriptive statistics, forecasting, time series, basic ML) to business problems
- Participate in agile/kanban workflows, including task tracking and progress reporting
- Use version control and modern development practices to ensure reproducibility and maintainability (e.g., Git)
- Communicate analytical insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute new ideas, methods, and emerging data science technologies to continuously enhance team capabilities
Who We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM-related field (Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, CS, Engineering, Mathematics, or related)
- Demonstrated applied experience via internships, capstone projects, or student consulting with real organizations
- Up to 2 years hands-on data analysis experience, including data preparation/cleaning and use of SQL and Python
- Ability to plan and organize work from project initiation through completion
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Curious, collaborative, and eager to learn on-the-job in a data/analytics career path
Preferred Technical background
- Proficiency with version control (Git) and modern dev practices
- Experience building interactive analytics or apps (Streamlit, Dash, Shiny) and dashboards (Power BI)
- Familiarity with relational and cloud data platforms (SQL databases, Snowflake)
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS) and containerization tools (Docker)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus
- Academic or project experience in applied statistics, time-series analysis, forecasting, machine learning, and generative AI
