What You’ll Do
You will join a State and Local Tax (SALT) team working with public and private clients to deliver technical tax services and practical business solutions. Responsibilities include:
- Providing tax consulting services for state and local taxes (income, franchise, sales & use, gross receipts, personal property)
- Preparing state and local income and franchise tax returns
- Researching complex tax issues and drafting technical memoranda
- Writing internal and external tax alerts on current developments and planning techniques
- Building productive relationships with staff at all levels and with clients
- Deepening knowledge of SALT and federal tax concepts through hands-on engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting, or Master’s degree in accounting or tax
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be pursuing an LLM, JD, or CPA license (or actively working toward licensure)
- Detail-oriented with strong problem solving, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills
- Comfortable collaborating in a primarily in-person model while working with your team to balance flexibility and development needs
- Ability to travel locally and occasionally nationally or internationally as required
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: $74,000 — $83,000 (reflects expected pay across certain regions; actual offer may vary by geography and experience)

Location & Work Model
