Overview

This two-year Entry-Level Engineering Rotation is a structured Gas Compressor Engineering Rotation Program based in San Diego, CA. The program accelerates early-career engineers through multiple 3–6 month rotations across core technical areas to build product knowledge, technical depth, and an enterprise perspective. Successful participants transition into a long-term role within the gas compressor engineering organization.

What You’ll Do

As a participant in the Gas Compressor Engineering Rotation Program you will:

  • Join a coordinated, two-year rotation program delivering hands-on technical assignments
  • Complete 3–6 month rotations across multiple engineering teams to build breadth and depth
  • Contribute to product design, analysis, testing, and validation activities for gas compressors
  • Learn product development lifecycle and support manufacturing and test activities
  • Build technical skills in aerodynamics, rotordynamics, mechanical/electrical analysis, and systems
  • Work with product management and cross-functional teams to understand market and customer needs
  • Present technical findings, document results, and communicate effectively across teams

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline
  • Overall GPA ≥ 2.8 (on a 4.0 scale)
  • 0–3 years of relevant experience (co-op/internship experience welcomed)
  • Solid technical knowledge of engineering fundamentals
  • Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA

Compensation & Benefits

Summary pay range (California): $72,360 — $108,540 per year. Compensation may vary by job level, market location, experience, and other factors.
