What You’ll Do
As a Corporate Banking Analyst in the Analyst Program, you will support the Credit Products Portfolio Management team and collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, and other internal partners to analyze and summarize the creditworthiness of clients and monitor loan portfolios.
- Gather and analyze financial and business information to determine creditworthiness for loan and credit products.
- Prepare financial spreads, risk ratings, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring and maintenance activities.
- Underwrite commercial loans in accordance with credit policy, including financial statement analysis, collateral analysis, cash flow and capitalization modeling, and management assessment.
- Conduct industry and market research; distill findings into concise summaries for presentation.
- Support portfolio management and perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- FINRA Series 79, 63, or the required combination — or ability to obtain within 4 months of hire.
- 0–2 years of experience in underwriting or commercial banking.
- High attention to detail and strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
- Available to begin full-time employment in July 2027.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time. Confidential Client will not sponsor applicants for immigration benefits for this role.
Details & Compensation
- Employment type: Full-time; Exempt.
- Location: Charlotte, NC (role may be limited to Columbus, OH; Houston, TX; or Charlotte, NC).
- Remote/Workplace: Remote-eligible / Telecommute options may be available; specific arrangements provided by the hiring team.
- Estimated base salary: $75,712 per year (estimated).
- Development: Entry-level, Analyst Program role with exposure to portfolio management, underwriting, and career paths in Relationship Management, Credit, or Capital Markets.
