What you’ll be doing
As an Assurance Staff I (entry-level), you will join the assurance team supporting examinations of clients’ financial statements across public and private engagements. Under the direction of senior staff and managers you will:
- Perform detailed verification and substantive procedures for audits and assurance engagements
- Prepare workpapers, document findings and support conclusions
- Assist with audit fieldwork at client sites and in-office tasks
- Coordinate with teammates to meet engagement timelines and quality standards
- Participate in on-the-job training and professional development activities
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university
- 0–2 years of recent public accounting experience (entry-level candidates welcome)
- Must be able to reliably commute to the assigned office in Donaldsonville, LA and to client sites as required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future
Preferred qualifications
- Educational progress toward CPA licensure (requirements vary by state)
- Completion of 150 academic credits or a master’s degree in accounting is a plus
- Expected final graduation between Dec 2026 and Sept 2027 (for campus hires)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred
- Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills
- Excellent time management, organizational, analytical and communication skills
- Self-motivated, strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in teams
- Leadership potential and professional curiosity

Compensation & Schedule
- Employment type: Full time
- Estimated pay: $89,702 per year (estimated)
