Overview

Confidential Client's Corporate Finance — Healthcare Transaction Advisory practice seeks entry-level Associates (expected graduation Dec 2026–Jul 2027) for an eight-week summer/temporary consulting engagement based in Nashville, TN. The practice advises private equity, management teams, boards, and lenders on transactions, performance improvement, and interim management. You will work on buy- and sell-side diligence and related transaction advisory projects focused on healthcare clients.

What You’ll Do

• Support day-to-day activities of Corporate Finance – Healthcare Transaction Advisory client teams on buy- and sell-side diligence engagements
• Build and maintain financial models and analyses (quality of earnings, working capital trends, financial trend analysis)
• Perform financial statement reviews and reconciliations
• Contribute to business and transactional performance assessments and quality of net working capital analyses
• Prepare client deliverables: written analyses, reports, and presentations
• Collaborate with engagement teams, subject-matter experts, and client contacts to meet engagement objectives
• Assist in identifying issues for purchase price adjustments and deal-structuring insights
• Participate in practice development activities including marketing and client pitches

Qualifications

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance (expected graduation Dec 2026–Jul 2027)
• CPA eligibility is preferred
• Strong data analysis, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to interact with senior management
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel up to 25%
• Desire to work in consulting or professional services
• Candidate must be able to provide verification of legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future

Compensation & Logistics

• Salary range: $65,000 to $110,000 per year
• Employment type: Temporary summer contract (8 weeks); classified as full-time during engagement
• Location: Nashville, TN (on-site or as required by the engagement)
• Travel: Up to 25%
• No sponsorship available — candidate must be authorized to work in the U.S.
