What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Associate Program Financial Analyst to support program financial reporting and analysis. In this role you will:
- Support assigned programs with timely financial analysis, modeling, and recommendations for decision-making
- Maintain program forecasts and provide monthly Estimate at Completion (EAC) calculations
- Prepare and maintain Corporate Financial Reports, Program Status Reports, and Earned Value reports
- Ensure program financials are accurate, complete, and compliant with SOX and internal controls
- Investigate variances, identify financial issues and risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Provide ad-hoc program financial analysis and real-time status updates to the Finance Manager
- Present financial data during monthly and quarterly reviews to front-line and executive stakeholders
- Act as an integrated member of the program team, keeping Program Managers informed on program financial health
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (if required for the role)
- Strong Excel skills and experience with financial modeling and spreadsheet analysis
- Comfortable working with numbers, forecasts, and tight deadlines
- Clear verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting to stakeholders
- Team-oriented, self-starter mentality with strong organizational skills
- MS Office experience preferred
- Earned Value Management (EVM) experience is a plus
- Oracle (financials) experience is a plus
