What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Outsourcing IT Staff I to join their Outsourcing IT team in New York, NY. In this role you will contribute to software development, product and AI initiatives, and client-facing technical support.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications with guidance from senior engineers
- Support product development and applied AI initiatives (integrating tools/APIs and prototyping features)
- Troubleshoot client issues and provide clear technical support
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and client-facing teams to deliver solutions
- Assist with data analytics, reporting, and automation tasks to improve client workflows
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Software Development, Technical Business, or related field
- 0–2 years recent public accounting or outsourcing IT experience (entry-level)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred / Desired
- Final graduation date of May 2026 preferred
- Experience with Python, Power BI, JavaScript, and SQL is a plus
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and software fundamentals
- Coursework or experience in client/technical support, AI/ML, or product development
- Strong academic record (minimum GPA: 3.0)
- Proficient with MS Excel and MS Word
- Excellent time management, organization, and ability to work independently and in teams
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to grow in software/product development and applied AI
