Overview

This is an accelerated, entry-level Floorcovering Management & Sales Training Program designed to develop future facility managers and sales representatives. Employed by Confidential Client, the program runs 18–24 months and starts with an 8–12 week formal training period. After successful completion, participants are placed into Floorcovering Operations Manager or Field Technician roles in Florida or Georgia.


What You’ll Do

  • Complete the structured training program and reach development milestones
  • Support sales strategies to grow market share and optimize facility profitability
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and product knowledge
  • Build and maintain relationships with wholesale and retail customers and commercial clients (property managers, builders, contractors)
  • Assist with store/ facility administration, safety, loss prevention, and security compliance
  • Maintain outstanding facility condition and visual merchandising standards
  • Support employee onboarding, training, performance management, and corrective action when required
  • Respond to and resolve customer and employee issues professionally
  • Partner with leadership to make outside sales calls and develop client accounts

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license required
  • Bachelor’s degree completed by the program start date
  • Able to retrieve materials from shelves and floor stacks and lift/carry up to 50 lbs frequently (up to 70 lbs occasionally), with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred:

  • 1+ year retail, sales, or customer service experience
  • 1+ year experience in leadership or supervisory roles
  • Team-oriented background (work, extracurriculars, military service, etc.)
  • Experience selling floorcovering or related products
  • Familiarity with timekeeping and CRM systems
  • Willingness to relocate for future opportunities
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish or other languages) a plus

Schedule & Location

  • Typical schedule: 44 hours per week; may include evenings and weekends
  • Authoritative location: Tampa, FL (program placement upon completion may be in Florida or Georgia)
  • This role includes customer contact and access to cash/electronic equipment; a background check is a requirement

Compensation

  • Estimated pay (source): $77,780 per year — estimated (do not rely on this as a guaranteed salary; final compensation determined by Confidential Client)
